Journal of National University of Defense Technology(JNUDT) is an open access publication. The full text of all submitted manuscripts, once publicly published, can be accessed permanently and free of charge through the official website(http://journal.nudt.edu.cn), with archival content accessible since 1982.

Peer review

JNUDT implements a double-blind peer review process, where neither authors nor reviewers are aware of each other's identities, specifically designed to avoid non-academic quality factors such as personal relationship from affecting the fair evaluation of manuscripts.

Authors' rights and users' rights

After the manuscript is accepted, the authors are required to sign the "Copyright Agreement for Papers in Journal of National University of Defense Technology", to transfer the usage rights of the paper worldwide to the editorial department of JNUDT, including the rights of reproduction, distribution, communication, translation, compilation, etc.
JNUDT applies the CC BY-NC license. Users may access, reproduce, and distribute the papers published in JNUDT with proper attribution and commercial purposes.

Publication fees

Full text published in JNUDT are available for free through the official website. JNUDT charges no fees from authors in any form. Following formal publication, authors will receive correspinding remuneration for the manuscript.

Archiving of back issue articles

All published articles, since 1982, have been digitally preserved on the journal's website with full-text accessibility for free. Systematic archiving extends to the National Version Library of China starting from 2011 and to the National Library of China from 2013. Historical publications prior to 1982 remain accessible through academic databases such as CNKI.

Authors' self-archiving

JNUDT grants authors the right to self-archive their articles. Authors can store all versions of their articles in institutional repositories or other knowledge repositories they choose, but they must indicate in the repository that their articles are originally published in JNUDT.
