Chief Expert, Beijing Academy of Food Sciences (BAFS), China
Shou-Wei Wang is a professorial senior engineer, the chief expert of China Meat Research Center, the chief expert of Beijing Academy of Food Sciences, also a member of The Food Safety Expert Commission of the State Council, executive director of Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology, chairman of Meat Processing Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance. He devoted to the research of major common technical difficulties in meat industry, and the transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievement. He presided over and undertaken more than 30 projects, including National Key R&D Program of China, National High-Tech R&D Program (“863” Program), National Science and Technology Support Program, Public Welfare Industry Research, The National Natural Science Foundation of China, etc. Prof. Wang has published more than 200 scientific and technical papers, obtained over 32 invention patents, formulated and revised 11 national/industrial standards, published 10 monographs.
