The rapid advancement of large language models (LLMs) is fundamentally transforming the landscape of sixth-generation (6G) communications and networking. 6G networks are envisioned to support immersive communication, ubiquitous connectivity, integrated sensing and communication, and native intelligence. To meet these ambitious goals, LLMs, with their outstanding comprehension, reasoning, and generalization capabilities, are poised to play a central role in physical-layer optimization, intelligent network management, and autonomous multi-agent coordination.
This special issue aims to consolidate cutting-edge research and foster interdisciplinary dialogue on the theoretical, algorithmic, and practical advancements of LLMs for 6G networks. We welcome contributions that address the open challenges in applying LLMs to next-generation 6G wireless networks. The scope of this special issue includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:
All manuscripts submitted to the special issue will be subjected to peer review. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their completed manuscript to https://mc03.manuscriptcentral.com/icnjournal with “Special Issue on Large Language Models for 6G Networks” as Article Type.
