Future sixth-generation (6G) wireless networks are expected to evolve from connectivity-oriented infrastructures to intelligent platforms capable of jointly supporting communication, sensing, positioning, and computing. Among the emerging application domains, the low-altitude economy has attracted significant attention due to its potential to transform transportation and service delivery. However, low-altitude environments (e.g., under 300 meters) are characterized by strong dynamics, complex propagation conditions, frequent blockage, and highly diverse service requirements, which cannot be efficiently supported by conventional communication-centric network architectures.
To address these challenges, Integrated Sensing and Communications for Low-Altitude Networks (ISAC-LAN) has recently emerged as a promising paradigm. By tightly integrating sensing and communication capabilities across distributed aerial and ground nodes, ISAC-LAN aims to enable environment-aware transmission, cooperative perception, adaptive resource management, and wide-area coordinated coverage. With advances in massive MIMO, distributed intelligence, and network-native sensing, ISAC-LAN is expected to become a key enabler of reliable, scalable, and secure low-altitude network infrastructures.
We invite researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to present the latest advances, challenges, and practical solutions related to ISAC-LAN. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
We welcome contributions that address theoretical, methodological, and practical aspects of ISAC-LAN. Papers should provide new insights, challenge existing paradigms, or present innovative frameworks and techniques for low-altitude networks. We are particularly interested in works that demonstrate how ISAC-LAN can improve reliability, efficiency, and security, and address key challenges in dynamic and complex aerial environments.
