All articles published by Energy Materials and Devices since its establishment in 2023 will be included in ESCI. Its first impact factor will be released in 2026.

About Energy Materials and Devices

Energy Materials and Devices is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed, open-access journal sponsored by Tsinghua University and published by Tsinghua University Press, which provides a platform for communicating investigations and research advances in the cutting-edge field of energy materials and devices. It focuses on the innovation researches of the whole chain of basic research, technological innovation, achievement transformation and industrialization in the field of energy materials and devices, and publishes original, leading and forward-looking research results, including but not limited to the materials design, synthesis, integration, assembly and characterization of devices for energy storage and conversion etc.

In two years since Energy Materials and Devices has been launched, it is indexed by ESCI, Scopus, Inspec, CAS, DOAJ, etc. It has also been selected "China's Excellence Action Plan for New High-Starting Point Journals" in 2024. The CiteScore 2024 released in June 2025 is 5.9 ranking 25% in its field, and the latest CiteScoreTracker 2025 is 10.7.
