Carbon Future Officially Indexed in Scopus Database

Recently, Carbon Future has successfully passed the evaluation of Scopus—the world's largest abstract and citation database—and has been officially indexed.  Carbon Future is an open access, peer-reviewed (single-blind) and interdisciplinary journal sponsored by Tsinghua University and published by Tsinghua University Press. Under the leadership of Editor-in-Chief, Professor WEI Fei, and with academic support from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Tsinghua University and the Ordos Laboratory, the journal focuses on both fundamental and applied research in all aspects concerned with carbon. Its scope covers carbon-related materials and processes, including catalysis, energy conversion and storage, as well as low carbon emission process and engineering, aiming to provide a multidisciplinary platform for cutting-edge global exchange. Since its launch in March 2024, the quarterly journal has published 8 issues, garnering over 460,000 views. In addition to Scopus, Carbon Future is already indexed in CAS, DOAJ, and Inspec. Call for Papers Carbon Future invites high-quality submissions including original research, reviews, perspectives, research highlights, and policy commentaries. Medicine Advances has been officially indexed in the ESCI

We are pleased to announce that Medicine Advances has been officially indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), the largest database of peer-reviewed literature providing abstracts and citations. Leading Transportation Journal Communications in Transportation Research Now Publishing Fully Open Access on SciOpen

The internationally renowned journal Communications in Transportation Research (COMMTR) has completed its transition to a fully open access publishing model on SciOpen, the advanced academic platform of Tsinghua University Press. Now publishing from Volume 6 (2026), the move solidifies the journal's commitment to global accessibility, visibility, and the advancement of open science in transportation research. Having completed its publication with Elsevier through Volume 5 (2025), COMMTR is now published by Tsinghua University Press exclusively on SciOpen, a platform dedicated to high-quality, open research dissemination. Circular Economy has been officially included in the ESCI

We are thrilled to announce that our esteemed academic journal, Circular Economy, has been officially included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) by Web of Science, a leading global provider of scientific and scholarly research information. All articles published by Circular Economy since its establishment in 2022 will be included in ESCI. And it will receive the first impact factor in 2026.  About Circular Economy Circular Economy is a quarterly journal launched in September 2022. It serves as a sharing and communication platform for novel contributions and outcomes on innovative techniques, systematic analysis, and policy tools of global, regional, national, local, and industrial park's waste management system to improve the reduce, reuse, recycle, and disposal of waste in a sustainable way. It has published 4 volumes (13 issues), with a total of 84 papers. Authors come from 35 countries, including China, the United States, Australia, etc., and world’s top universities and research institutes, including University of California, Waseda University, University College London, Tsinghua University, etc. In three years, Circular Economy is indexed by ESCI, Scopus, Ei Compendex, etc. The published papers have also attracted an overwhelming response (with a total citation of 1,546) and have been cited by 148 journals, including top journals in this field such as Journal of Cleaner Production, Resources Conservation and Recycling, Waste Management, etc., from 112 countries. Notably, a single article has garnered 246 citations—this work focused on e-waste recycling and was authored by research groups from Tsinghua University and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. To date, 37 articles published in the journal have achieved an average citation count exceeding 10. Tsinghua Science and Technology Begins Its Next Chapter on SciOpen

In August, the first issue of Volume 31 of Tsinghua Science and Technology was released on SciOpen, an academic publishing platform developed by Tsinghua University Press. This move marks a new chapter for the journal. Tsinghua Science and Technology is the first English-language journal in natural sciences sponsored by Tsinghua University. 2024 Nano Research Young Innovators (NR45) Awards in Nanomaterial Self-assembly

Recently, Nano Research announced awardees of the 2024 Nano Research Young Innovators (NR45) Awards in Nanomaterial Self-assembly. Twenty-four outstanding young investigators under the age of 45 were selected for their extraordinary contributions in nanomaterial self-assembly. They were selected through a competitive process by an award committee from Nano Research’s editorial board. Congratulations to all the 24 awardees in 2024! The focus of the 2024 NR45 Awards is on nanomaterial self-assembly. All the awardees were invited to submit research or review papers that underwent through a rigorous peer-review process. Nano Research has published a Special Issue featuring their work in Volume 18, Issue 7, 2025. In this special issue, 12 research articles and 12 review articles have been released at the journal home. In conclusion, this special issue underscores the breadth of nano self-assembly research, spanning synthesis, characterization, and applications. Since young scientists are generally more active, energetic, and innovative, Nano Research attaches great importance to the wonderful work from young scientists.
